Vietmap Application JSC is established in the year 2006 by an elite group of experts in GIS (Geographic Information System) and information technology.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented GIS Data Analyst to join our team under the BU Automotive, with a primary focus on enhancing the capabilities of our flagship platform – VietmapLive. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality and accuracy of spatial data by collecting, processing, and managing GIS datasets that support our real-time navigation and smart mobility solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate, clean, and standardize GIS data collected from diverse internal and external sources.
• Analyze and visualize geospatial data to support a wide range of mapping and locationbased services.
• Proactively gather and verify live traffic event data (e.g. congestion, accidents, road incidents) from multi-source inputs such as sensors, user reports, and social platforms to ensure real-time system updates.
• Update and maintain spatial databases and digital maps with high precision and consistency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations teams to deliver actionable geospatial insights for projects.
• Identify opportunities to streamline GIS data workflows and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of data quality standards
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Strong proficiency in QGIS, SQL, and other GIS analysis tools.
• Solid analytical thinking with hands-on experience working with spatial datasets.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) for automation and geospatial data processing is a significant advantage.
• 1–2 years of relevant industry experience in GIS or spatial data management is preferred.m English proficiency is a plus.
